Learning outcomes

1) Teaching outcomes for the programme
Knowledge
• Has basic knowledge about the specifics of the social sciences to other sciences and knowledge about the location of the social studies of work in social sciences
• has knowledge about social ties built in the context of the performed work, as well as norms and rules of social life arising on their foundations,
• has knowledge of the norms and rules that organize the work and the labour market, and the structures and social institutions that are created on their basis
• knows the basic institutional and organizational structures of work and the labour market, understands the relationship between them and the dynamics of their transformations
• knows the tools for obtaining data on the social relations, norms and rules created in the context of work, as well as the institutions, structures and organizations they create
• knows the basic axiological concepts referring to human work, its role in human life and its impact on the shape of relationships and social structures
• knows the ways to create and run commercial and non-profit activities focused on the development of ties, standards and structures of work and the labour market
• knows and understands the basic concepts and principles in the field of intellectual property rights protection
Skills
• Can use knowledge resulting from social studies of work in the course of occupational activity to analyze and interpret social processes and phenomena occurring in the area of work and the labour market
• can use knowledge resulting from social studies of work in the course of occupational activity in order to identify the causes for the occurrence and dynamics of the development of social processes and phenomena occurring in the area of work and the labour market
• can use knowledge and analytical tools in the course of occupational activity in order to forecasting the practical consequences of changes taking place in the area of work and the labour market
• basing on the knowledge and skills acquired during apprenticeships, is able to evaluate and manage the processes occurring in the area of work and the labour market, recognizing the normative character of the choices
• has the ability to publicly present (in Polish and in foreign language) own research, analyzes and forecasts related to knowledge resulted from the social studies of work and can use these skills at work
• has language skills in the fields of social studies of work and other disciplines related to work and the labour market in accordance with the requirements set for the B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
Social competences
• Understands the necessity of lifelong learning and is able to supplement and improve own knowledge and professional skills as well as motivate others to lifelong learning
• it adopts an active, creative and flexible attitude towards the world and work, plans own professional tasks in an appropriate way and solves problems in the course of their implementation
• can prepare research and practical social projects in own occupational activity related to the area of work and the labour market, applying knowledge gained during the studies, as well as effectively cooperating with other people
• can think and act in an entrepreneurial way
• is able to build a task team in the workplace and as part of it work actively with other people

• correctly identifies and resolves dilemmas related to the professional tasks in the area of organization and management of the labour market
