Learning outcomes

The graduate of this specialization:
- knows in-depth scientific theories in the areas of social and exact sciences, especially in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and advanced econometric methods;
- knows and understands the theories, models, regulations, and guidelines in the field of finance and accounting thoroughly, meeting international standards;
- knows the position of economics and finance in social sciences and the economic, legal, ethical, and other conditions of various types of professional activity related to finance and accounting, including the principles of intellectual property protection and legal matters;
- can model econometrically, formulate and verify research hypotheses, forecast time series with the use of analytical and IT tools, and advanced information and communication techniques;
- can apply the principles and standards of accounting;
- can identify, interpret and explain complex phenomena using the knowledge of microeconomics and macroeconomics theories;
- can identify, interpret and explain complex phenomena using the knowledge of international finance, markets, and financial institutions and instruments.
- can create reports and communicate the results of independent analyses effectively, including the English language at the B2 + level;
- can plan and organize their own and teamwork effectively; can lead debates, critically refer to the results of their own research and compare them with scientific research in economics and finance;
- can quickly learn independently and raise the acquired qualifications; can plan and implement their own learning throughout their life and guide others in this regard;
- is prepared to view critically on the advanced level theoretical and conceptual achievements of microeconomics, macroeconomics, and the history of economics and finance; is prepared to use the acquired knowledge to solve advanced problems and consult experts in the event of difficulties when solving them on their own;
- is prepared to think and act entrepreneurially and fulfil social obligations; is prepared to implement complex projects, and to work individually and in a team in a creative way; and
- is prepared to abide by professional ethical standards, fulfil undertaken commitments, and develop and disseminate acquired competencies and knowledge.
