Learning outcomes
The graduate has achieved the learning outcomes defined for the program of the field of study.
Description of the specialisation: Full-time first cycle studies:
Specialisation: Russian philology offered as part of East Slavic studies is a field of education within the humanities. The syllabus teaches structured basic knowledge of the literature, language, culture and social life of Russia in the past and in the present with an emphasis on their contribution to Slavic cultural heritage and on acquiring skills in analysing literary works and language phenomena. The graduate shall have language skills in spoken and written Russian corresponding to the C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Learning outcomes of the syllabus.
1) the graduate has a structured and detailed knowledge of the history of Russian literature (in both diachronic and synchronic aspects)
2) the graduate has a basic knowledge of the main trends in the study of Russian literature as well as of the latest new developments in this field
3) the graduate has a structured knowledge of the current tendencies in the Russian language
4) the graduate has language skills in spoken and written Russian corresponding to the C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
5) the graduate has basic research skills in the analysis and interpretation of literary works regarding problems, subjects, genres, composition, language and style
6) the graduate has basic research skills in the linguistic analysis and interpretation of Russian texts regarding phonetic, morphological, lexical, syntactic and stylistic aspects
7) the graduate recognises basic Russian literary intertexts
8) the graduate has a full awareness of the level of their knowledge and skills, and is able to extend and improve the knowledge they have gained
9) the graduate is aware of the responsibility to preserve the cultural heritage of the region, of the country and of Europe.
