Learning outcomes
A graduate:
1. has basic knowledge of Ukrainian linguistics; s/he knows the subject and methodological specifics as well as basic terminology.
2. identifies the importance of literary, historical and cultural studies in the field of Ukrainian studies; s/he recognizes the subject and methodologocal specifics as well as knows its basic terminology.
3. has basic knowledge of the main development and directions in the field of Ukrainian linguistics; s/he knows and understands the text analysis methods.
4. is familiar with the development stages of the Ukrainian literature, culture and history .
5. is able to search for, analyze, evaluate, select and use the information regarding the Ukrainian, Russian and English languages and translation studies using different sources and methods.
6. is able to search for, analyze, evaluate, select and use information regarding the Ukrainian literature, culture and history from the earliest times to the present day using a variety of sources and methods.
7. has the ability to prepare a written work in Polish, Ukrainian, Russian, or English for specific issues, using basic theoretical approaches and different sources.
8. can prepare an oral presentations on specific issues in Polish, Ukrainian, Russian, or English, using theoretical approaches and different sources.
9. has language skills: C1 in the Ukrainian language, B2 in English and Russian.
10. understands the need for learning throughout life.
