The student, upon graduation, has:

Knowledge
Student knows and understands:
- theoretical categories used in the labour and industrial relations research (K_W01);
- in-depth the place and significance of economic and employment policy in public policy (K_W02);
- in a deeper degree the functioning of the economy and the labour market in the modern world (K_W03);
- in a deeper degree the mechanisms of formation, regulation and development of labour relations and industrial relations in Poland (K_W04);
- methodology of research of labour and industrial relations in Poland to a deeper extent, including the main theoretical paradigms of social research, methods and techniques of quantitative and qualitative research, as well as the used statistical methods (K_W05);
- economic, social, legal and ethical determinants of the implementation of public policy and the functioning of enterprises in the area of labour and industrial relations, with particular emphasis on the impact of technological change and its consequences (K_W06);
- the importance of lifelong learning of workers for the functioning of the labour market in economy 4.0 and the instruments of public policy implementation and enterprise strategies in this area (K_W07);
- the importance of lobbying, advocacy and social dialogue in relations with public institutions and interest groups and in the process of public policy making (K_W08);
- the importance of managing diversity and anti-discrimination in an organisation and the principles of developing strategies and policies in this area (K_W09);
- the importance of intellectual and industrial property protection in the field of labour and industrial relations (K_W10);
- the principles of creation and development of different forms of entrepreneurship and their relevance to labour and industrial relations (K_W11).

Skills
Student is able to:
- critically analyse state policy in the field of labour and industrial relations (K_U01);
- formulate, analyse and solve problems related to the functioning of organisations in the context of labour and industrial relations (K_U02);
- design, plan and carry out social research in the field of labour relations and industrial relations, including formulating and testing hypotheses related to the set research problems, using selected research approaches and applying advanced quantitative and qualitative social research methods and techniques, including statistical methods, as well as advanced information and communication techniques (K_U03);
- effectively present orally and in writing the results of his/her own research and analysis in the field of labour and industrial relations, taking into account different audiences (K_U04);
- use a foreign language at B2+ ESOCJ level, including the use of specialized terminology in the field of labour relations and industrial relations (K_U05);
- cooperate in task teams and lead the work of a team, using the knowledge of coaching, monitoring, negotiation and mediation techniques, also in the context of managing change in an organization (K_U06);;
- speak effectively in public, take part in a debate in various roles, including a debate on issues in the field of labour and industrial relations (K_U07);
- plan and conduct negotiations in the field of employment relations and industrial relations (K_U08);
- consciously shape his/her own educational and professional career path in the perspective of lifelong education, and motivate and guide others in this regard (K_U09).

Student is ready to:
- to take into account in his/her professional work the principle of priority of scientific knowledge in problem solving, to critically evaluate the knowledge possessed and received in the field of labour relations and industrial relations, and to make conscious and responsible use of expert knowledge (K_K01);
- to think and act in an entrepreneurial way, including fulfilling social obligations, inspiring, initiating and organising activities for the benefit of the social environment, in particular in the field of labour and industrial relations (K_K02);
- consciously and responsibly perform professional roles both as an analyst, researcher and practitioner in the field of labour and industrial relations, with care for the development of the achievements of the profession, one's own development as an employee, upholding the professional ethos, as well as acting to observe and develop the principles of professional ethics (K_K03).
