Learning outcomes
Prepared on the basis of The Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of 02 November 2011, on Qualifications Framework for Polish Higher Education Qualifications (Dz.U. no 253, item 1520)
Environmental Protection:
1. Selected learning outcomes
- has knowledge on the issues and research techniques in selected branches of the sciences, the humanities, natural, social, agricultural, or medical sciences
- is able to distinguish legal-administrative and economy-financial tools and procedures in environmental protection
- understands the position of environmental protection politics and principles of sustainable development in social and economic life
- is able to interpret international laws of environmental protection
- uses environmental models to interpret changes in animated and unanimated nature
- applied modern information techniques (e.g. GIS, remote sensing)
- identifies weak and strong sides of standard procedures undertaken to solve environmental issues
- prepares simple reports and guidelines for expert opinions based on acquired data
- plans and uses appropriate methods and techniques to solve environmental problems.
2. Programme size in ECTS credits – at least 120; 4 semesters.
