Learning outcomes
The graduate has achieved the learning outcomes defined for the second-cycle degree programme in Bioinformatics in Annex No.11 (2nd cycle Annexes) to Resolution No. 414 of the Senate of the University of Warsaw of 8 May 2019 on degree programmes at the University of Warsaw (UW Monitor 2019, No. 128 as amended).
On completing this curriculum the student:
- has broadened their knowledge and skills in selected areas of bioinformatics, biology, computer science or physics;
- is familiar with bioinformatics software and biological data management technologies;
- is able to model complex biological systems as well as design experiments using large-scale genomic technologies, analyse the data obtained from them and interpret the results of these analyses;
- is familiar with typical drug design problems and methods and advanced computational methods used in comparative genomics;
- is able to work in teams, including interdisciplinary teams.
