Learning outcomes

1. Learning outcomes:
A graduate of first cycle degree studies in the field of Oriental Studies, specialty of Culture of the Ancient Near East – Hittitology:

- has detailed and organized knowledge of literature and writings of the Ancient Near East
- has detailed and organized knowledge of history of the Ancient Near East
- has detailed and organized knowledge of religions of the Ancient Near East
- has detailed and organized knowledge of archaeology of the Ancient Near East
- has detailed and organized knowledge of socio-cultural issues in the Ancient Near East within the scope of natural environment, demographic and political situation

- can read, analyze and interpret literary texts of the Ancient Near East and appropriately place them in their cultural context
- has a good command of Akkadian, Hittite and Latin

- acts in aid of sharing and promoting cultural and linguistic heritage of the Ancient Near East
