Students will develop and perfect the following technical skills:
– passes and reception
– dribbling
– set and jump shots
– step-over and running shots
– individual defence (man-to-man) and team defence
– goalkeeping
– single faint, faint with a pirouette
– positional attack: advancing, cutting, getting around the defender
– fast attack (first wave and second wave)
– positional attack against zone defence 6:0
– fast attack finishing (when playing 2 to 1 or 3 to 2)
– screens
– play in various positions.

Learning outcomes
Students:
- will acquire the general knowledge of the human body and its functioning;
- will be able to exercise safely;
- will learn how to work in a team;
- will understand the need to stay fit in order to remain healthy;
- will be able to use sports equipment correctly;
- will develop special motor skills under the guidance of the Physical Education and Sports Centre’s staff.
