Knowledge:
- acquiring, deepening and updating the knowledge about new trends in literature for children,
- getting to know the topics of cultural and moral taboos present in children's literature.
Skills:
- the ability to prepare and present arguments in the discussion on the legitimacy or lack of legitimacy of the presence of controversial topics in books for young children,
- the ability to critically evaluate how taboos are dealt with in children's books and to participate in a discussion.
Social competence:
- understanding the need for lifelong learning,
- the ability to participate in a discussion in a cultural way,
- the ability to systematically participate in cultural life and interest in the development of the publishing market of children's books.
Assessment criteria
Attendance and active participation in classes, presentation.
