This course will allow you to search more efficiently on the Internet. Attending the course will enable you to:
• Identify your information need: verbalise it, indicate your expectation toward needed materials, transform it into query understandable for digital information systems: find the relevant keywords and connect them by right Boolean operators.
• Get knowledge about valuable sources of information in the Internet
• Select the search strategy relevant to your topic
• Undertake critical evaluation of your sources
• Get knowledge about different type of software which make your work with search results easier.
• Use reference manager
• Cite correctly the materials in your papers

Knows and understands advanced methods of analysis, interpretation, evaluation and problem division of various types of information objects in the understanding of book and information science.
Knows and understands advanced methods of analysis, interpretation, evaluation and problem division of various types of cultural products, proper for selected scientific disciplines, which can provide comparison for library and information research and practical application.
SKILLS:
Is capable of retrieving, analysing, evaluating, selecting and integrating information with the use of various sources and formulating on the basis of the collected materials of critical judgments for own purposes.
