Energy policy of Poland and the European Union 2600-dz/w3PEf
The topics of the course are related to contemporary and complex issues of energy policy implemented on two levels - national and EU.
In particular, the course deals with the following topics:
1. Introduction - characteristics of the most important issues and explanation of basic definitions.
2. Polish energy law - review of national legislation in the field of economic law, especially energy law.
3. Polish energy policy - analysis of strategic documents relating to the state's energy policy.
4. EU energy law - review of current legislation.
5. EU energy policy - the context of transformation, analysis of key documents setting directions for changes in energy policy and shaping energy transition.
6. Energy security - discussion on the crucial issues regarding the architecture of energy security in the EU and in Poland.
7. Contemporary challenges of the energy sector - characterization of key problems.
