The topics of the following lectures will allow:
1) characterize strategic management as an organizational process, the subject of an evolving scientific sub-discipline, and an emerging community of practitioners, researchers and organizational advisors.
2) presenting methods for analyzing the organization's environment.
3) discussion of the key concept of the competitive advantage.
4) characterization of the industry and close environment of the organization, and presentation of methods of strategic analysis
5) discussion of the social dimension of the organization's strategy as an activity embedded in a network of stakeholders operating in a changing world
6) discussion of the role of top management teams, leadership, passion and discipline in the formulation of strategy and visionary concepts of the organization.
The estimated total number of hours that a student must devote to achieve the learning outcomes defined for the course (taking into account the organized hours, the method of credit and the student's independent work) is 36 hours.
