Competences, skills and techniques of a soft skills trainer 2300-MS2-TKM
The aim of the module is to provide students with the knowledge, skills and social competences necessary to prepare workshops for adults concerning soft skills. Students will learn the principles of designing classes, plans and schedules, the digital tools for didactic work, outdoor methods of didactic work and the basics of edutainment, as well as research methods in the work of a trainer helping to effectively plan, implement and evaluate his/her own work.

After completing the module the student knows and understands:
1. selected theories explaining the learning process of adults as well as the conditions, mechanisms and factors determining both the decision to undertake and continue educational activities and the effectiveness of adult learning
2. research methods (ADI, RAPS models) enabling the logistics of educational activities, determining business indicators and analyzing the effectiveness of educational activities
3. principles and stages of designing workshops and classes, as well as modern and effective methods and tools of didactic work aimed at the involvement and active engagement of participants in constructing their knowledge and shaping their soft skills
After completing the module the student can
1. analyze, diagnose and design didactic solutions aimed at developing the participants' creativity, self-cognition, communication skills, independence, flexibility and involvement in the learning process
2. observe and evaluate their own workshops for adults and propose new educational solutions.
3. communicate in a precise, inclusive and non-discriminatory way and critically evaluate and justify the proposed didactic solutions
4. prepare a plan for a soft skills workshop using the acquired specialist knowledge concerning the adults’ learning process as well as their needs and expectations
After completing the module the student is ready to conduct
1. independent and critical improvement of knowledge and skills as a constant and indispensable element of a trainer's work
2. systematic improvement of the quality of the design and implementation of workshop activities and making them conducive to creating the need for lifelong learning.
Assessment criteria
Students will be able to go for the module exam upon successfully passing all the courses within the module.
The examination involves preparing a workshop consisting of 8 hours of original classes within the subject of soft skills, and presenting the project and discussing it with the examiner.

1. Planning of the content of the modules
2. Selection of teaching methods and tools according to the phases of the group process
