Acquiring grants - scientist's workshop - optional classes 1600-SZD-POGR
Optional classes in acquiring grants are additional to the compulsory classes. The aim of the course is to extend the knowledge acquired in compulsory classes. During the course, elements of the development of the scientific career path will be discussed, with an emphasis on searching for information on current grant calls financed from external sources and job offers for young scientists. Doctoral students will gain the ability to effectively prepare grant applications and learn about the system of supporting scientific activity at the University of Warsaw. We will also raise issues related to the correct budget calculation. During the workshop we will work with the current project applications.

Assessment criteria
Description of the requirements related to participation in the classes, including the permissible number of absences subject to excuse:
lectures will be held stationary (optionally via online application).
Rules for obtaining credits for classes and subjects (including make-up tests): single-choice test on the Kampus platform, available after the end of classes.
Methods of verification of learning outcomes: participation in the discussion, test at the end of the course.
Assessment criteria: minimum score: 60% of the points in the final test.
