In biology computers are used extensively: as calculating machines, as test editors and as source of information in the internet. There are more and more programs designed exclusively for biologists. The development of information technology in recent years has been a huge. Now, without additional guidance, young peoples don't know, how the computer has to support their studies. "Informatics" teaches about computers, operating systems and the functioning of the Internet, but first of all the "Informatics" shows the ways of using the computers by biologists.
