Assessment criteria
The classes are graded based on the following conditions:
- participation and preparation for classes (mid-semester short tests; 2 absences are allowed)
- positive grades from two written tests
- one graphic work.
The test on rock identification is in written form with open-ended questions and identification of rock specimens. The test on
interpretation of geological maps consists of graphic tasks.
The final grade is the sum of: grades from two written tests each multiplied by 0.387, summative grade from short tests
multiplied by 0.102 and grade for graphic work multiplied by 0.129.
