Prerequisites (description)
Members of the seminar should have finished the course of calculus as well as linear algebra. Basic differential geometry knowledge will be an advantage: members of the seminar should be familiar with notions such as manifold, tangent and cotangent bundle, vector field and differential form.
Learning outcomes
Member s of the seminar will master the skill of presenting their own scientific results as well as results published in the literature. They will broaden their knowledge on the contemporary applications of differential geometry in physics.
Assessment criteria
Evaluation is done based on attendance and seminar presentation prepared in collaboration with a member of scientific staff. Final result is marked using traditional scale 2-5.5
